Global Manufacturer of Custom Hydroponic Systems & Turnkey Commercial Farming Projects
For home growers who want to provide fresh vegetables for family and friends, the challenge is not always having more land. It is making better use of the space already available.
A customer from the USA planned to grow fresh vegetables hydroponically, not only for daily household needs but also to share fresh, safe produce with family and friends. Because of this, the customer placed a strong focus on planting density, space utilization, and overall growing capacity, looking for a system that could produce more within a limited footprint.
The planned crops included popular vegetables and herbs commonly used in American households, such as lettuce, kale, spinach, arugula, basil, cilantro, and parsley. These leafy greens and herbs are well suited to hydroponic growing and can be continuously planted and harvested for everyday meals.
After comparing different hydroponic growing solutions, the customer chose the ZIP Hydroponic System. Unlike traditional horizontal hydroponic systems, the ZIP system uses a vertical growing design to make better use of available vertical space. More planting sites can be arranged within a relatively small footprint, helping increase growing capacity per square meter.
The system also uses a recirculating hydroponic method, allowing water and nutrients to circulate through the growing system. This helps reduce unnecessary water consumption while providing plants with a consistent supply of water and nutrients.
