Vertical Hydroponic Tower System for Growing Leafy Greens at Dominica Farm

Dominica is warm and humid with abundant rainfall, but for agriculture, Dominica has limited land resources and traditional growing methods are susceptible to pests, diseases and seasonal weather. The client wanted to start its own farming program through hydroponic farming to achieve a steady production of vegetables and a year-round supply of fresh leafy greens as a way to earn money. After thoroughly researching a variety of hydroponic systems - including the NFT system, the ZiP system, the Ebb and flow table system, and the Vertical Hydroponic Tower system - the customer ultimately chose the 6P15 Vertical Garden Hydroponic Tower system, which is better suited to Dominica growing conditions.

The 6P15 model hydroponic tower has 15 planting layers with 90 planting holes, with a small footprint. The vertical planting method allows for higher density planting in the same area, which is very suitable for areas with limited land such as Dominica. The hydroponic tower system can also grow a wide variety of vegetables such as lettuce, spinach and other leafy greens, as well as fruits such as strawberries and fruit tomatoes, and mint, basil and herbs.

We also provide our client with detailed parameter information, including the water consumption, power consumption, number of plants and size of individual hydroponics towers, to help the client accurately assess the return on investment. For commercial farms, hydroponic towers can save up to 90% of water consumption compared to traditional cultivation, which saves a significant portion of the client's operating costs.

After confirming the proposal, we assisted the client in calculating the shipping cost and overall cost. With the hydroponic tower's closed loop water supply system, which saves about 90% of water consumption, coupled with low energy consumption and high harvest yield, the overall cost of the project was well within the customer's budget, and the first batch of 20 sets of 6P15 hydroponic tower systems were purchased by the customer.
