Indoor Hydroponic Tower Project in the UK

The UK's unpredictable weather and limited outdoor growing conditions are driving more homeowners to explore indoor hydroponic farming solutions. A customer from the UK plans to transform four rooms in their home into indoor growing spaces for year-round vegetable production.

Each room is approximately 30 square meters, and the customer aims to maximize space efficiency using vertical hydroponic tower systems. After evaluating different configurations, we recommended a combination of 6P10 and 4P10 hydroponic towers based on room layout and growing capacity.According to the plan, two rooms will be equipped with around 20 sets of 6P10 hydroponic towers, while the other two rooms will accommodate approximately 30 sets of 4P10 systems. These vertical growing systems are suitable for lettuce, spinach, kale, basil, and various leafy greens and herbs, enabling high-density indoor cultivation.

Before proceeding with the full project, the customer requested a sample for testing. Considering shipping efficiency and cost, we recommended starting with a smaller unit. The customer ultimately chose a 4P6 hydroponic tower with LED grow lights as the trial system.

The 4P6 model features a 6-layer vertical structure with 4 planting sites per layer and integrated LED grow lights, providing supplemental lighting for indoor environments with limited natural sunlight—especially important during the UK’s low-light autumn and winter seasons.

After confirming logistics costs and product details, the customer raised concerns about installation complexity. To address this, we provided detailed structure explanations and installation videos. Once the customer reviewed the assembly process and confirmed the system’s modular and user-friendly design, confidence in the project increased significantly.

The order was completed successfully, and the customer will begin testing the hydroponic system to evaluate plant growth performance and operational experience before scaling up to full-room deployment.
