Microgreen hydroponic system for growing leafy greens in a home hydroponic farm in Belgium

In July 2025, Isabelle, a Belgian customer, contacted us with plans to start a hydroponic farm. Her goal was clear: to focus solely on growing leafy greens and microgreens, and she was looking for a small hydroponic system suitable for her initial trials.

During our conversation, we learned that she already had some basic knowledge of hydroponics, but she was still concerned about ensuring stable plant growth during the early testing phase. Therefore, we recommended our 3-1 Microgreen Hydroponic System. This microgreen hydroponic system is designed with the needs of small farms and family farmers in mind:

Capillary Water Supply: Compared to traditional water pipes, the capillary tubes used in our microgreen hydroponic system deliver water and nutrients more gently, effectively preventing damage to delicate seedlings and microgreens caused by excessive water flow.

Mobile Design: The hydroponic system is equipped with six universal wheels, four of which have brakes, making it easy to move while maintaining stability when stationary. It is ideal for flexible layouts in greenhouses or small indoor farms.

Reasonable Layer Spacing: Each layer of the microgreen hydroponic system is 27cm high, providing ample growing space for crops and preventing leaf growth restrictions caused by too close a layer spacing.

Full-spectrum LED Lighting: Each growing layer is equipped with full-spectrum grow lights that simulate natural sunlight, ensuring stable plant growth even in Belgium's seasonally low-light conditions.

After a detailed introduction to the configuration and advantages, we also shared some customer feedback and photos to give her a more intuitive understanding of the microgreen hydroponic system in action. The customer expressed great satisfaction with our solution and placed an order for a set of 3-1 seedling racks on July 21st, as the first hydroponic system for her hydroponic farm.
