To improve planting efficiency, our Iraqi client installed 20 sets of our 6P10 vertical tower hydroponic growing systems in their own greenhouse. This introduced a new, highly efficient cropping pattern to the greenhouse, which had primarily focused on ornamental flowers. It boosted overall space utilization, expanded the range of crops that could be grown, enabled greater crop diversity, and effectively enhanced competitiveness in the market.
Located in the Middle East, Iraq experiences a hot, arid climate characterized by intense summer heat, high evaporation rates, and scarce water resources. Traditional vegetable farming model demands stringent environmental conditions. In contrast, the hydroponic growing system within the greenhouse operates stably in a closed, controlled environment, significantly reducing water consumption. This makes it perfectly suited to local climatic conditions, serving as an ideal farming solution for arid, high-temperature regions.
The 6P10 Hydroponic Tower features a vertical design that occupies minimal floor space while providing 60 planting positions. It is ideally suited for installation on previously unused areas like greenhouse walls, maximizing greenhouse space utilization. The customer's greenhouse originally focused on high-value ornamental flowers like roses, while the newly added hydroponic tower system grows short-cycle, market-stable leafy greens such as lettuce, arugula, and herbs. Simultaneously growing flowers and vegetables within the same greenhouse not only diversifies the crop portfolio but also establishes a multi-crop cultivation model that operates synergistically without interference. This effectively disperses operational risks while boosting revenue.
We have received feedback from the customer confirming the hydroponic tower system's stable performance. Nutrient solution circulation remains smooth, resulting in uniform crop growth and consistent quality. By utilizing vertical space within the greenhouse, the project achieves dual improvements in yield and crop diversity without additional land or infrastructure investment. Simultaneously, hydroponic farming offers simplified management, high cleanliness, reduced labor and pest pressure, and enhances overall operational efficiency and control.
This project's success fully demonstrates the compatibility of modern hydroponic technology with traditional greenhouse agriculture, providing a replicable approach for agricultural advancement in arid and high-temperature regions!
