Hydroponic Fodder Container for Horse Farm in Brazil

When weather determines fodder production, livestock feeding costs often become unpredictable. For a horse farm owner in Brazil, maintaining a consistent supply of fresh and nutritious feed had become an important challenge for daily farm operations.

In many parts of Brazil, alternating dry and rainy seasons can affect traditional fodder cultivation. Combined with limited land availability, maintaining a reliable year-round feed supply is not always easy. Seeking a more controlled and efficient solution, the customer began exploring hydroponic fodder farming and eventually selected our 1500kg/day hydroponic fodder container system.

Unlike conventional fodder production, the hydroponic fodder container operates in a controlled environment and is not affected by outdoor weather conditions. The container farm is fully assembled and tested before shipment, allowing the customer to start production quickly. After delivery, the system only requires access to water and electricity, with no complicated installation process required.

The system is capable of producing approximately 1,500 kilograms of fresh hydroponic fodder per day and can grow barley, wheat, corn, and other livestock feed crops. This provides a reliable source of fresh green fodder for horses throughout the year.Inside the container, multiple automated systems work together to create an optimal growing environment. These include a temperature and humidity control system, LED grow lighting system, automatic irrigation system, air circulation system, and central control system. The enclosed growing environment helps improve germination rates, increase biomass production, and reduce the impact of external environmental conditions.

After putting the system into operation, the customer closely monitored both fodder production and horse feeding results. The hydroponic fodder container consistently delivered stable daily output, ensuring a continuous supply of fresh feed for the farm. The customer expressed satisfaction with the system's automation, ease of operation, and reliable production capacity.

As the customer gained more experience with hydroponic fodder technology, interest expanded beyond farm use. In addition to continuing production for the horse farm, the customer began exploring opportunities to introduce and resell hydroponic fodder systems in the local market. This project not only improved feed security and operational efficiency but also opened the door to future business cooperation.
