Vertical Hydroponic Tower with LED Lighting for Indoor Crop Growing

What if limited space could still give you room to grow more? A customer in Spain is exploring indoor vertical farming as a way to produce fresh crops in a more controlled environment. With factors such as high temperatures, seasonal changes, water availability, and fluctuations in fresh produce supply and prices, the customer wanted to test a growing solution that could operate independently of outdoor conditions.

For this project, we recommended our 6P9 hydroponic tower with integrated LED lighting. With 9 growing layers and 54 planting sites, its vertical structure maximizes growing capacity within a compact footprint. The built-in LED system also provides consistent artificial lighting for indoor cultivation.

The 6P9 can be used to grow and test a range of crops, including lettuce, leafy greens, kale, spinach, strawberries, and other compact crops. This gives the customer the flexibility to compare different crops and evaluate their performance under controlled conditions.

Rather than starting with a large-scale investment, the customer chose one 6P9 as a pilot unit. Through this trial, they can gain hands-on experience with irrigation, lighting, daily operation, and crop growth while collecting valuable production data.
