Vertical Hydroponic Growing System for Multiple Crops on a Small Farm in Ecuador

A grower in Ecuador was looking for a practical hydroponic growing solution for a small farm. The goal was to start with a moderate investment, grow a variety of crops, and gradually expand the farm based on actual growing results.

After learning about the available growing space and crop plans, we recommended a combination of 8P10 hydroponic towers and a Dutch bucket system. The customer ultimately purchased 10 sets of 8P10 hydroponic towers and 2 sets of Dutch bucket systems for testing different crops and growing methods.

The 8P10 hydroponic tower uses a vertical hydroponic growing design to make better use of limited farm space while providing high planting capacity within a compact footprint. It is suitable for growing lettuce and other leafy greens, basil, mint, strawberries, and other crops suitable for vertical hydroponic farming. The Dutch bucket system provides more root space and stronger support for larger plants, making it suitable for fruiting crops such as tomatoes, cucumbers, and bell peppers.

By combining these two hydroponic growing systems, the customer can test different crops and cultivation methods within the same small farm. This flexible setup allows the grower to compare how different crops perform in each system and adjust future planting plans according to actual growing results, including which crops are better suited to the local climate and growing conditions.

In addition to hydroponic equipment, we provide installation guides, technical guidance, and after-sales support to help the customer complete the system installation and start growing successfully. Starting with a moderate-scale hydroponic farming project gives the grower an opportunity to build practical experience while preparing for potential future farm expansion.
