Scalable Hydroponic Farming Solution for Small Scale Commercial Projects in the USA

For growers planning to enter commercial hydroponic farming, testing equipment, crops, and operating methods on a smaller scale before making a larger investment can help reduce initial project risks. A customer from the United States was preparing to develop a commercial hydroponic farming project and wanted to conduct a practical trial before expanding to a larger production facility.

After discussing the customer's production goals, growing site layout, and future expansion plans, we recommended the 6P10 Hydroponic Tower. Each tower features a vertical growing design with 60 planting sites, allowing growers to achieve high planting density while making efficient use of available space. The modular design also makes it easy to add more hydroponic towers as production demand increases.

Since the customer's long-term goal is commercial vegetable production, we also designed a solution equipped with an automated nutrient dosing system. The system centrally manages nutrient solution preparation and irrigation, helping provide a more consistent supply of water and nutrients to multiple hydroponic towers. It can also reduce manual operations and improve overall farm management efficiency.

Although this initial project is relatively small, the system configuration was planned around the customer's future commercial expansion. We considered the overall growing site layout and expansion requirements when designing the nutrient management system. Once the initial trial proves successful, the customer can primarily increase the number of hydroponic towers without replacing the existing nutrient dosing equipment, helping reduce future expansion costs and equipment upgrades.

After detailed discussions, the customer was satisfied with the proposed solution and placed an order for 10 sets of 6P10 Hydroponic Towers and one automated nutrient dosing system, officially starting the initial testing phase of the commercial hydroponic project.

With 600 planting sites in total, this first order gives the customer an opportunity to evaluate equipment quality, crop performance, operating efficiency, and local market potential before moving toward larger scale production. The practical data collected during the trial will also provide a valuable basis for future farm expansion and investment decisions.

Throughout the testing process, our team will provide installation guidance and technical support to help the customer successfully deploy the system and begin production. As the project develops, the customer can use real growing and operational data to plan the next stage of expansion and build a larger commercial hydroponic farm in the USA.
