Lyine provides custom manufactured hydroponic system solutions and services
In September 2025, an import company from French Polynesia contacted us to inquire about purchasing vertical hydroponic tower systems. The client's objective was to conduct planting trials using hydroponic systems, specifically aiming to test pineapple towers.
While these conditions suit certain crops, excessive humidity and frequent rainfall heighten pest and disease risks, posing challenges for traditional agriculture. The hydroponic tower design specifically addresses these climatic challenges. Its advantages include eliminating soil requirements, significantly conserving water resources, adapting to high-humidity environments, maximizing land utilization, and reducing common pest and disease issues in traditional farming—enabling stable year-round production.
After thoroughly understanding the client's requirements, we recommended a pineapple tower system suitable for small-scale testing. Following multiple discussions, the client decided to initially purchase 10 hydroponic tower units. Some will be used for internal cultivation trials, while others are planned for market sales. The client indicated that if the trials prove successful, they will expand their purchase volume and promote the hydroponic system locally.
This vertical hydroponic system is particularly suited for space-constrained environments, enabling high-density cultivation within compact footprints. The client was highly satisfied with this feature, as the hydroponic tower's vertical structure allows growing more crops in limited space. Installation is also remarkably simple, requiring no complex tools or extra labor—clients can assemble each module like building blocks.
Currently, 10 hydroponic tower sets have been successfully shipped. The client will conduct growing trials and market promotion in French Polynesia. We look forward to seeing the results of their testing and hope to assist them in further expanding their hydroponic operations, bringing more innovative and sustainable solutions to local agricultural development.
