Indoor Multi Layer NFT Hydroponic System for Home Vertical Farming in Spain

This Spain-based client fully used the garage space in his home to install our multi-tier NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) hydroponic system, transforming an empty space into an efficient, stable, and sustainably operated indoor farming area.

In Spain, summer brings intense heat and strong sunlight, with drought affecting some regions. Traditional soil-based farming faces challenges in water efficiency and stability. By moving the growing environment entirely indoors, the client eliminated the impact of weather fluctuations, seasonal constraints, and outdoor uncertainties, enabling year-round controlled production. Indoor farming combined with NFT Hydroponics technology creates ideal growing conditions for crops through precise control of water, nutrients, and light. The nutrient solution continuously flows over the roots in a thin film, significantly conserving water while maintaining an oxygen-rich root environment. This accelerates growth rates and enhances crop uniformity.

The multi-tier NFT hydroponic system employs a vertical farming structure, transforming flat planting into a three-dimensional layout.
