8p10 Vertical Hydroponic Tower for Urban Agriculture in Spain

With the growth of urban agriculture, GreenHarvest España, a Barcelona based agri-tech distributor, is actively contributing to the transformation of growing methods in Spain. Faced with a growing market demand for local, sustainable crops, GreenHarvest has identified the commercial potential of hydroponic growing systems in Mediterranean climates.

Traditional agriculture relies on large amounts of land and water resources, which is often difficult to achieve in urban environments. To address this challenge, GreenHarvest chose our 8p10 Vertical Hydroponic Tower System, which we also call the Pineapple Tower because it looks like a pineapple overall. This hydroponic tower system is designed for high-density urban planting, with a total of 80 planting holes, which can dramatically increase the yield per unit area, while saving 90% of water.

The entire hydroponic tower system is well configured and includes a wheeled water tank, water pump, planting baskets and planting sponges. The modular installation is as simple and quick as putting together building blocks, making it suitable for rapid deployment and operation in urban scenarios. The customer ordered the first 5 sets of vertical hydroponics towers for planting tests and highly recognized the performance of the towers. Based on the favorable test results, GreenHarvest plans to expand to 1,000 hydroponic towers this year and establish hydroponic farms in Madrid and Valencia.
