Lyine provides custom manufactured hydroponic system solutions and services
An urban agriculture enterprise in Montreal, Canada, has been seeking a stable, efficient, year-round method to supply fresh herbs to meet local market demand. Montreal's long, cold winters with temperatures frequently dropping below freezing make traditional outdoor cultivation nearly impossible, while indoor soil-based farming faces constraints in space, humidity control, and pest management. To overcome seasonal and environmental constraints, they ultimately selected our 6P10 Vertical Hydroponic Tower System.
The vertical structure of the 6P10 Hydroponic Tower System is ideally suited for urban growing environments like Montreal, characterized by high land costs and limited indoor space. Occupying less than one square meter, it provides up to 60 planting positions, enabling customers to achieve high-density commercial production within confined areas.
Constructed from food-grade materials, the tower features a robust, durable structure with a long service life. Its 100L large-capacity reservoir minimizes nutrient solution fluctuations, ensuring stable crop growth even during winter's significant temperature variations. Full-spectrum LED supplemental lighting mimics natural sunlight, enabling rapid, uniform, and vigorous plant growth even under short daylight hours and frequent winter overcast conditions.
Our clients primarily cultivate high-value herbs like basil, mint, rosemary, and thyme using hydroponic towers. This technology ensures roots receive continuous, balanced oxygen and nutrients, resulting in herbs with intensified natural aromas, distinctive flavors, vibrant green foliage, and natural coloration. It's like planting a “green plant factory” right in the heart of the city.
