Hydroponic Fodder Machine Project in Mexico for Exotic Bird Farming

Producing fresh fodder consistently can be challenging in regions where droughts and heavy rainfall alternate throughout the year. A customer from Mexico is exploring hydroponic fodder technology as a reliable solution for year-round feed production and future business expansion.

The customer has been involved in the exotic bird farming industry for more than 33 years and operates a distribution network of approximately 236 dealers across the country. As demand for high-quality animal feed continues to grow, he began searching for a more efficient and stable way to produce fresh green fodder. His goal is not only to supply nutritious feed for bird farming operations but also to develop a scalable hydroponic fodder model that can be introduced to his dealer network in the future.

Because the project is planned to start with a small-scale validation phase before wider adoption, the customer placed strong emphasis on system reliability, ease of operation, and automation. After evaluating the project requirements, we recommended our 50kg/day hydroponic fodder machine, a fully integrated growing system designed for continuous fodder production.The machine features a PLC intelligent control system that automates irrigation and growing processes, helping users reduce labor requirements while maintaining consistent production. In addition to hydroponic fodder, the system can also be used for growing wheatgrass and certain microgreens. As a turnkey hydroponic solution, the unit arrives ready for operation with minimal setup requirements, allowing users to begin production quickly.

One of the key advantages of the hydroponic fodder system is its ability to provide fresh green feed throughout the year regardless of outdoor weather conditions. The customer is currently in the evaluation and testing phase and plans to assess production capacity, operational efficiency, and market potential before expanding the project. If the results meet expectations, the hydroponic fodder solution may eventually be introduced across the customer's extensive dealer network, creating new opportunities for livestock and agricultural producers throughout Mexico.
