3 Tips For Hydroponic Fodder Production
- Does Not Sprout
The first is seed good, but most seeds are not ready well in the waking stage. Like the waking time is not enough, not in the dark environment, or the temperature is not suitable, etc., that all will make the seeds germination rate low or die.
- The Top of The Sprout Turns Yellow
The yellowing of the sprout tips is mainly due to insufficient or uneven light. Generally, the reason is in the distance between each layer of fodder trays is too close, causing the sprouts is higher than the LED hydroponic lights on the sixth or seventh day.
- Rotten Roots
The biggest cause of rotten roots is lack of O2, or mildew caused by excessive humidity. How to improve?
– The water level in the hydroponic tray is should not be too high.
– The temperature and humidity in the shipping container farm must be set according to the standard.
– If oxygen is scarce, like a place with a high altitude, the return water pipe can be removed to allow the returning water to naturally fall into the tank. Which can increase some dissolved oxygen.
